Turn repurposed hardware into a reliable environment for storage, applications, remote access, monitoring, and hands-on DevOps work.
02 / Projects
Selected projects.
A collection of projects that show how I approach unfamiliar systems, practical constraints, and measurable outcomes.
Production-minded homelab platform
A self-hosted platform built to learn infrastructure the way it is operated in practice: documented, monitored, backed up, and improved in phases.
Designed a Proxmox environment with a ZFS mirror, isolated service workloads, Docker Compose stacks, Tailscale access, Nextcloud, Uptime Kuma, and a Prometheus/Grafana monitoring layer.
Created a stable base for secure ingress, infrastructure automation, CI/CD, and orchestration while practicing recovery and observability from the beginning.

Modular OOP architecture for rendering, input, sound, and collision, plus profiling work that reduced duplicate loading and cut startup time by roughly 50%.
Belize driver's-license application
A Tkinter desktop interface simulating a learner's-permit application and storing submitted information in MySQL.
Home-automation system
Home Assistant on a Raspberry Pi with Pico W and ESP8266 sensor nodes, motion-driven automations, alerts, and NFC-triggered room controls.
Large-scale text analysis
Linux-based Python environments supporting NLP and topic-modeling research with PySpark, Spark NLP, TF-IDF, and LDA.
